Haven Balfe began working at the Alliance in January 2005. Previously, she managed the operations of a volunteer-intensive community service organization in Alexandria, VA, and taught English to third graders in Thailand. Balfe graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst with a BA in sociology with a concentration in statistics.
